Earlier this year, my body broke down sending me into extreme physical pain in multiple places. I could not move, sleep or function normally without being in agony. I had to scramble to find a way to get through it and I am beyond thankful I found the team at Northern Michigan Sports Medicine center in Harbor Springs! They were my trusted sherpas through the darkness of debilitation to what is now a mostly pain free existence.
Karin, Melissa and Guy met my challenges with patience, steadfast support and wise counsel as they mobilized their expertise to help bring me back from the brink. With their guidance, I moved from a heavy regimen of painkillers to a drug free, pain free existence now.
Karin wisely guided me immediately into pool therapy to mitigate strain on my body. Melissa’s incredible therapeutic neck massage helped me break through the wall of pain so I could begin to rebuild my strength. And I credit Guy and his dry needling skills for providing the final boost necessary to get my body back to normal.
I’m also grateful for the tremendous office team at NMSM, especially Cassy who helped me navigate months of scheduling and rescheduling and always with a smile and eagerness to help!
