Bear River Crawl 5K Run

Thank you for supporting the Bear River Crawl and NM Cancer Crusaders. The rain came down but did not discourage anyone from running. Thanks for waiting out the rain delay.

We are excited to host the Bear River Crawl 5K run this year and if you can’t make it to Petoskey, join us for the virtual run.
Start time: 5K Run – 8:00 am 5K walkers with strollers and dogs – 8:10 am.
The BRC virtual run has three great advantages for runners and walkers. (Plus if you register before July 7th, we’ll send you a T-shirt)
- You can do it on your own time. If you want to wait for a sunny day or a cool evening, you can. Just complete the run between July 15 and July 30, 2023.
- You can run the race anywhere. You can run it in Colorado or Florida, downstate or here in Petoskey and still support the NM Cancer Crusaders.
- In addition, you get to pick your own course! It could be on a trail, on a treadmill, in a city, or in a park. Just get out and run or walk a 5k!
Once you finish your run, send us your times and finish photos and we’ll post them on our social outlets and website.
ENTRY FEES (Registration fees are nonrefundable, as this is a fundraiser)
5K Run/Walk $25.00 before July 5, 2024 $30 July 6 -12, 2024 $40 day of race
A t-shirt is guaranteed to all registered entrants before Friday July 5th at 5:00 pm
AWARDS – 5K run
Overall male and female finishers and the top male and female finishers in each division.
Divisions: 15 & under, 16-19, 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-75; 76- 79; 80 & over
Race Pick up: Race packet pick up will be on Friday, July 14th from 4 – 6:30 pm at Northern Michigan Sports Medicine Center, 345 N Division Rd., Petoskey, MI 49770 (231) 348-7950 or day of race.
If you are out of town and running virtually – we will mail your registration packet with your bib and t-shirt.
In Memory signs: If you wish to make a donation to the Northern Michigan Cancer Crusaders in the memory of or in honor of a loved one that has been touched by cancer, a dedication sign will be created featuring their name and mailed to you. A $10 donation is appreciated.
